Fundamentals

1. Immanuelites believe that the Scriptures of the Holy Bible is the Inspired Word of God.  The Bible is a reflection of the express Word of Jehovah (YHWH). It contains all-sufficient revelations for the salvation of man through the merits of the unique Begotten Son of God (Jesus Christ- Yehsua Messiah). It is the lone-rule by which all teachings and practical life is measured. As Christians, our lives are patterned from Biblical principles.

2. Immanuelites believe that the Eternal Father, the Only-ever-has been, Omniscience, Omnipresent (through His Holy Spirit), and Omnipotent is full of mercy, grace, and truth. It is His pleasure to ever abide with us by His Holy Spirit which worked in Creation and has been working for the salvation of Man.

3. Immanuelites believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the Father; as such, He is the express replica of the total essence of the Father's actual being, a Clone of the Only-ever-has-been.  He came from of old, from the days of Eternity; thus, the -Father and the Son are individuals of one essence throughout the ceaseless ages of Eternity. By inheritance, Jesus Christ obtained the very nature and titles of His Father.

4. Immanuelites believe that the Incarnation of the Son of God is the condescension to become man and resurrected from the dead as the Begotten of the Father.  When the first and only begotten came into the world, having emptied Himself of all the divine attributes, He became human that Christ might taste death for everyone who comes to Him.  At His resurrection and ascension by the glory of the Father, He regains the essence of His Father's actual Being.

10. Immanuelites believe that the seventh-day of the week, commonly known as Saturday,  memorial of creation, is the "sola scriptura," rest day (The Sabbath) and principal day of holy convocation in both Testaments. This day of the week was created after the sixth day to be held sanctified and sacred. This is a principle in the commandments which has been applicable to the Christian faith. Exodus 20:8-11.

5. Immanuelites believe that the Old Testament Sanctuary service, the national holy days, and feasts presents the Gospel in types and symbols, typifying the coming of the Son of God who has brought Eternal salvation to planet earth. By giving of Himself through death, Christ tasted separation from life for everyone who comes to Him.

6. Immanuelites believe that salvation from sin is manifested only through the merits of Jesus Christ.  Salvation is the gift of God through Jesus Christ.  No man may enter paradise or gain salvation prior to the shedding of Christ's Blood and acceptance of that sacrifice as the only merit for salvation.

7.  Immanuelites believe that Jesus Christ is the only Mediator for salvation and prayer between God and man. As He ascended to heaven after His resurrection, He entered the presence of the Holy of Holies (Father) and took up the Work of the Antitypical day of Atonement as High Priest, Judge, and Savior for the lost Creation.

9. Immanuelites believe that the coming of Christ near to us in judgment precedes the second coming of Christ.  This is known as a coming to judgment to complete the work of harvest in the world as He reclaims His own by gospel effort. The Judgment is in three phases. First phase of Judgment is Salvation and condemnation which began at the resurrection of Christ. Second phase begins at the blowing of the seven trumphets and climaxes at the second coming ( Rev. 19).  The third phase begins at the setting of the great white throne when the wicked are resurrected.

8. Immanuelites believe that the second coming of Christ is to be visible that all eye shall see Him.  It precedes the global event of completing God's premillennial Kingdom by proclaiming the true, complete, and   original Kingdom Gospel, in all its phases, to all the World as a witness unto all nations.

11. Immanuelites believe in one true baptism by immersion that brings to us the Christian life, where we are never thirst again of the presence of the Spirit by which we were baptized. This marriage in Christ is of one continuous eternal commitment.  Baptism by the Spirit precedes baptism by water.

12. Immanuelites believe that the human body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and that its care and cleanliness ought to be maintained in the best health with regard to matters of eating, drinking and etc.  As with the apostles and prophets, Immanuelites prohibits use of unclean manners mentioned in Leviticus 11, and also the use of or trafficking illegal drugs.  Tobacco and alcohol is also forbidden.

13. Immanuelites believe in the appropriateness of modest conservative appearance, therefore, shunning, according to the scriptures, the ever changing styles and fashions of worldly and fleshly lust.  As Christians, we abstain from even the very appearance of evil.  This includes shunning of jewelry (necklace or the like, bracelets, others for the purpose of decoration), nail polish colors, painting on skin or tattooing and all hair dos for the purpose of attracting attention.

14. Immanuelites believe in the unconscious state of the dead, in that the dead in any form or manner can neither speak, hear, feel or see until bodily resurrection.

15. Immanuelites believe in the observance of Holy Communion or the Passover as directed by Christ, yearly festival on the fourtenth day of the first month from the ancient Biblical practice.  It is to be celebrated as the Lord’s Supper (at evening) preceded by the foot washing ordinance of humility exemplified and commanded by Christ. Believers should commemorate this day as a non regular Sabbath for prayer and preparation. Immanuelites practice open communion.
